Calling Columbus, Ohio home is up-and-coming hip hop artist Joseph Toth aka DJ Collab, who is looking to put his hometown on the map in the world of music. Since his time spent in the US Navy, where he began to get into music, DJ Collab has switched his focus from his duties to going all-in on his music career. Looking to break his family’s traditional path of a 9-5, DJ Collab knows that it isn’t going to be easy, but he’s ready to put his head down and get to work.
Starting to make music mid-deployment in 2013, DJ Collab has had the last few years to dial in his sound and get it exactly how he wants to. He has always loved the art of entertainment as a whole, so bringing people together with his music is one of his favorite aspects of creating music thus far. It wasn’t long ago that DJ Collab released his first song on Spotify called “Difference,” and it is receiving good feedback thus far. He hopes to continue to build momentum from his debut single and transcend up the music industry ranks.
With endless amounts of talent and a dream that has been brewing in his mind for the longest time, there is no telling how far DJ Collab could take this thing.
