Many have ruled the hip-hop music scene in past, but Kayo 40 is a breed apart and his work says it all.
Kayo 40 was born in Hawaii, but spent his growing up years in New York. Music became his passion right from his early years and he grew up to become one of the most well known hip-hop artists music industry has ever produced. He started his career with producer Leland Gurrieri in the year 2012 from Kingston, New York and went on to become a rage with coming times. Obviously being an old school, born in 1993 his idols have always been artists like The notorious B.I.G, Tupac and Wu-tang clan but he was also an avid follower of bands like AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, nirvana, and a lot more who were ruling the music arena decades back. The highest point in his career came in the year 2019 when his second single “CHI” was listed on Iheart radios top 100 with renowned artists like Young M.A and Ed sheeran. That made him arrive in a big way in the music scene and he went ahead to make a meteoric rise in his music career from then on.
His fourth single single “Meech” went on to create history on Tik tok with more than 500k followers who engaged with his title and some users also went on to create their own “Meech” dance. His latest singles “Meech” and “Rockstar” which have hit it big time are currently streaming on The Games newest mixtape, Game Time, streaming on datpiff and many other music platforms. His latest single “Ignorant”, features on the top playlist of Spotify New hits 2020 along with Billie Eillish, Justin Bieber, Quavo, Arizona Zervas and a host of other top-notch music artists. He is all set to release his next single which goes by the name “Tough”, scheduled to release on the 15th of October this year.
Kayo 40 has made a strong foothold in the music industry with a huge fan following and is bound to create history in coming times for sure.
