Meeting the Multi-Talented CEO of Clonefluence, Justin Grome

Before the Christmas of year 2010, Justin Grome was your average pre-teen next door who kept himself busy with school, video games, family, and friends. However, ‘Twas, the night before Christmas’ Justin received a camera as a present, that dramatically changed his life – for the betterment.

The starting line

Instagram was only 2 months old when Justin started uploading his photographs on the network. Initially, he only had a couple hundred followers on his page. But with the discovery of hashtags, his popularity also grew significantly.

After establishing his credibility on Instagram, he moved on to Twitter. While Instagram was limited to his photography – Twitter became the stage for his comical personality. Having learnt the art of graphic designing, Justin created memes that took Twitteratis by storm.

As a matter of fact, his memes reached over 100 million users in one month with 25 million impressions on a single tweet. Even popular social media artists such as ‘thefatjewish’ favorited and retweeted his memes on their profiles.

He was acclaimed for having the funniest tweets of all time by BuzzFeed in 2017. Several other digital portals including WorldStar and iFunny also featured his memes on their network.

The journey continues

After making it huge on Twitter and Instagram, Justin decided to put his knowledge of social media marketing and analysis to a different use by launching his first company Clonefluence Inc. at the age of 17.

The prime aim of the company was to promote underground artists on social media. Justin had always been fond of music and through Clonefluence – he wished to display the work of musicians on a larger platform.

And this is where his struggle started.

Although he managed to get a lot of traffic from his social media pages towards his agency – getting sponsors and artists on boards was challenging with limited funds and young age.

But Justin was not the man to give up. He remained consistent with his strategies and ultimately, his efforts combined with the support of his family gave Clonefluence unprecedented growth in just one year.

Today, Clonefluence is considered a nearly a 7-figure agency with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Riff Raff, Uncle Murda, YONAS, Kiki Rowe, Skaa, and many more on their roster.

Success is never ending

For Justin – “Success is a journey, not a destination!”

Even after achieving fame and wealth at such a young age, Justin’s excursion doesn’t stop! He aims to make Clonefluence one of the most well-known media companies for artists.

He has also established a subsidiary by the name of Earidescence. The idea behind Earidescence is to promote artists on a global platform and offer them with more opportunities.

On the academic front, Justin Grome holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University.

He credits all of his success to people who constantly doubted him, it made him work harder. His advice to youngsters of today is to keep going forward, despite the failures. He says, “It’s a lot of work, but that work will be worth it in the end.”
