Liz Kennedy is More Than Your Typical TV Host

Liz Kennedy is not your typical TV Host and On-Air Beauty Expert. After launching her career as a beauty, cosmetics, and makeup expert on various TV programs, including becoming a host & producer for a makeover segment on The Steve Harvey Show, Liz started hosting and producing a new digital series called Inner/Outer Beauty. Drawing on her on-air experience as well as her time working as the face of Super Model Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty Skincare Line on QVC, as well as a host of other brands, Kennedy quickly became dedicated to using her platform and expertise to help women build more confidence and self-esteem. Liz is passionate about helping females use various beauty brands and products to match their outer appearance with their inner beauty.

Liz is conscious of the fact that many women feel overwhelmed by all the possible brands and products in the cosmetics and beauty spaces. This is why she became so enthusiastic about leveraging her expertise to help other females. Further, Liz knows that many women feel like most cosmetics and beauty brands are too expensive, complicated to use, and inaccessible to them. This is why Liz uses her beauty knowledge to suggest great tips and tricks to use when navigating the beauty and cosmetics spaces.

Due to the power of Liz’s message and her experience on television, she is in talks with various networks to expand upon her digital show Inner/Outer Beauty and take her platform to a larger audience. Now more than ever, Liz believes we need to normalize conversations around the intricate connection between one’s inner beauty and the way they feel about their outer appearance. More often than not many people, especially women, due to unfair patriarchal beauty standards or simply a lack of know-how, feel as though their inner beauty does not match their outer beauty. Regardless of one’s confidence level about their inner or outer beauty, women feel as though society does not recognize their outer beauty. This constant societal bombardment inevitably affects anyone’s psychological sense of their own value. Of course, when this phenomenon intersects with trauma, people may experience an even more difficult time reconciling perceived disparities between their inner beauty and outer beauty.

This is why Liz is committed to using her platform and expertise to help females who may be exhausted, underprivileged, and/or have PTSD navigate the overwhelming cosmetic and beauty worlds as well as unfair beauty standards. By spending a little time on outer beauty and self-care as well as by connecting with other females and empowering each other, women can start a domino effect of positive psychological change. This beauty positivity will help one begin to recognize and value one’s inner beauty more and more. Liz’s makeover show is democratizing access to females across various intersecting identities that may not have access to many high-quality beauty products. With the help and fun of a high-quality makeover, Liz is not only giving women a much-deserved reward for their hard work, but she is also helping them take a step towards valuing their inner worth by highlighting their outer beauty.
