Hyderabad’s Trendsetter Sudha Reddy Is A Designer’s Delight At White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Every designer has their muse and a defining moment in the journey. For Hubert De Givenchy it was Audrey Hepburn, for Gianni Versace it was his Versace muses, and for Lagerfeld it was his legacy at Fendi and Chanel. Once designers find their muse who is just as passionate about fashion – sparks fly!

And Hyderabad’s Sudha Reddy is a quintessential fashion muse. The philanthropist has a deep love for fashion and was awarded with the Fashion 4 Development Philanthropy Award at the F4D 2nd Annual Sustainable Goals Banquet. She attended the Met Gala in 2021 and was at the Paris Haute Couture Week. Her passion for fashion is truly unmatched and rare. She enjoys all aspects of the craft – this history, the creative process, the philosophy and carefully picks her looks to stay as authentic as possible.

Last weekend was a big moment in her fashion journey.

She made her debut at the prestigious White House Correspondents’ Dinner and had the privilege of being the first ever Hyderabadi at the event and the second Indian women attendee ever! She had no choice but to bring her A-Game! She exceeded everyone’s expectations and pushed the envelope of what fashion can look like at the big night.

She wore a Jenny Packaham gown and cohesively accessorised her outfit. She wore a Bulgari Serpenti necklace that matched the bling on the gown and carried an emerald Hermès Birkin bag that matched the shade of her gown perfectly. She wore high block heels to the gala and looked ethereal on the red carpet.

At the CBS Afterparty she swapped her emerald gown and Birkin, with a black jumpsuit and a matching Birkin. She added colour and an element of fun to this outfit with a pastel pink, bedazzled blazer and bedazzled shades.

She attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2023 and was present at the event alongside celebrities like John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Winnie Harlow, Julia Fox, Brittney Griner, Kelly Ripa and Ke Huy Quan. She was seen talking to congressmen, senators and other public figures of DC. At the State Of Qatar WHC Soiree she had an in-depth conversation with the ambassador of Qatar regarding current affairs, economic relations between Qatar, Washington and India, and also chatted about her recent visit to Doha.
