Fresh Micks has been working in the music space since 2010. The artist first gained traction by releasing mixtapes early in his career, and has stayed consistent releasing music since he began.
Most recently the artist dropped a 4 song EP titled “Dream Big.” The extended play features 4 different tracks and lasts just under 15 minutes in listening time. “Dream Big” showcases a more introspective Fresh Micks with honest lyrics about his life. But nowhere does Micks relate to his fans than on the track “Famous.”
“Famous” is queued as the last song on the project. The track switches between Micks’ melodic singing and bar for bar rapping throughout the track. With bars about different parts of Mick’s life, the listener gets a clear picture of exactly where Micks is at on his journey. Mick’s delivers lyrics about believing in himself even when nobody else does and pursuing his dream even when it might not make sense to.
