Queens, New York-based hip hop artist Em Nacirema has surfaced with his newest release, “Timeless.” The track marked the artist’s debut on all major streaming platforms and has done well post-release.
“Timeless” has amassed over 100,000 streams to date, but that isn’t even the most impressive part of the release. The single climbed the iTunes charts in Belgium, peaking at as high as #7 on the board. This moment marked a significant accomplishment in Em Nacirema’s career that some would say was a long time in the making.
Em Nacirema has had a rough patch in life, as early experiences shaped a lot of who he is today. The artist spent some time incarcerated, moments he sees as a disadvantage. Em Nacirema’s beginnings in music stemmed from his early experiences rapping with his younger brother. He learned the music business by getting hands-on experience distributing mixtapes for DJ Whookid.
Fast forward years later an Em Nacirema seems to have a promising career ahead of him.
