Some people just have it”; charisma, a positive vibe, and contagious energy. Using natural charm and extensive skills, this Virginia Beach native is taking the DJ-ing and Country music world by storm. DJ Ty Street, with a musically inclined family history, has dreams of not only wowing a stage but changing the DJ experience.

Streets father rocked the 1990s with his Hampton Roads based band, Easy Street, gaining enough momentum to be signed to Nashvilles Liberty Records operated by music mogul, Jimmy Bowen. At a young age, Ty resonated with the back stage” part of music and inherited the business aspect from both parents. Being his fathers biggest fan, Ty Street knew that he would entertain the stage, as well.

It is often hard to stand out as a DJ because most people do not think of DJs as artists”, a term aptly used to describe musicians, singers, and celebrities. But Ty Street has taken it upon himself to stand out in a crowd, quite literally. The White Boot Bandit” isnt just known for wearing signature white ostrich cowboy boots on every stage, but for kicking up the stage in a different way. Ty uses open format” to entertain as well as witty commentary, hosting abilities, and electric energy on stage. He is often seen interacting, dancing, moving, singing along, and just having tons of fun.  These particular aspects of his performance make him the sought after DJ for headlining and performing at nationally recognized events and venues.

He credits kicking off the first two shows for Dustin Lynchs 2015 Hell Of A Night Tour as a major jump start in his journey. Since then, his talents and expertise have given him the opportunity to open the stage, as a DJ, for other popular country music stars such as: Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs, Travis Tritt, Little Big Town, Brett Eldredge, Old Dominion, Lady A, Darius Rucker, Dan + Shay, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Cole Swindell, Chris Young, and Morgan Wallen; not to mention the major events he is associated with.

Ty Street is the official DJ for various events, sporting championships and major music festivals such as the annual Virginia Beach Patriotic Festival”, featured on CMT with Cody Alan for the past few years. Ty wows crowds but he can also market for business, landing gigs sponsored by some big names, including Red Bull, Monster Energy, Jack Daniels, Miller Lite, and Vans. When he isnt traveling, you can find Street performing regularly in Hampton Roads area nightclubs. So many things have shut down” due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but Ty Street sure hasnt. During this free time, he is taking advantage of various platforms to promote himself, his brand, and his skill.  He has hosted numerous Virtual Events to practice new techniques and stay engaged with his vast fan base.
