Vaccertify Plans To Provide Digital Vaccination Certificates

The Seattle startup company Vaccertify has planned a digital vaccination certificate for phones, which is very easy to use due to its simplicity. The prototype certificate displays the person’s name, his/her picture, the name of the COVID-19 vaccine received by the person, and when the final shots were completed.

This prototype originates a QR code that can be scanned by the inquirer, which then will take him/her to a profile connected to the site Vaccertify.com. This site opens the ID only when a private pin is provided. The digital certificate can be acquired by the customers when a customer completes a COVID-19 vaccination.

Then the customer is supposed to submit a government ID, a selfie, and the vaccine record to Vaccertify to receive the certificate. The CEO and Co-Founder Tiara Lyons came up with this idea to provide digital “social pass” for Covid-19 vaccines when searching for a babysitter who must be vaccinated as she gave birth during the pandemic.

She said, “It would be too risky to take the babysitter’s word they were vaccinated and too invasive to ask a stranger for medical records.” It was necessary to find a way out. The solution for these types of public interaction is there in the Vaccertify platform as it maintains privacy and gives reasonable assurance of vaccination to the customers.

Presently Vaccertify is a prototype as it is waiting for the vaccines to be released to run its pilot experiment. The company has planned three pricing levels to offer. The 7-day delivery plan comes at $49.99, the 3-day delivery plan at $99.99, and the 24 hour delivery at $199.99.
