The film’s trailer showed throughout the country at Christian festivals and conferences including Life Surge, Alive Music Festival, Rise Festival, Lifest, et al.

The films stars were on national TV and podcasts talking about the impact the film had on them and viewers everywhere.

“We’re excited to put the film into theaters for a wide release this time,” says a spokesperson for RiverRain Studios. “The film has won many people to Christ.”

The producers tapped well-known faith-based director, Tim Chey, to direct the film. Chey’s previous films include ‘Freedom’ (Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler) for Showtime, ‘The Islands’ (Mira Sorvino, John Savage, Lehi Falanaghi), and Sony Pictures ‘Slamma Jamma’. He is also a Harvard and USC alumnus.

“My hope and prayer,” says Chey, “is this film wins millions to Christ. The story is the perfect testament to gaining the whole world, but losing your soul. Fortunately, these guys found Christ in the end in a stunning, tear-jerking way.”

Over 11,000 actors submitted for ‘The Firing Squad’.

“Tim directed another home-run,” says the spokesperson for the studio which produced the film. “We’re so proud of Tim and all the actors and crew and believe it will also hit a home-run for God at the theaters next year.”

Chey also wrote and directed ‘Christmas Eve’ set to release nationwide in theaters November 7, 2025. The film is based on seven true stories of people who found Jesus on Christmas Eve.
