It is said a man is the creator of his own destiny and reality. A person has the complete power to change his and others lives for the betterment of his own being and society. Being born poor is a matter of complete fate, but living the rest of your life in poverty is a matter of choice; and Chrisna Ouk proves just that.
Chrisna Ouk is a young self-made businessman who made his worth through trading and building multi-million dollar businesses from the ground up. He wasn’t born into wealth, on the contrary, he started off from humble beginnings and grew up in a family that was part of the lower class. “I was never born with the luxuries I have now. Just like others, I worked my way up from the bottom by being the hardest worker in the room.” Chrisna says.
Since the beginning of his childhood, Chris was always interested in building things and finding ways to help the world through his creative ideas. Chrisna’s career began when he was just 14 years old, while others scrambled through grade school or indulged in sports, Chris made his first $100,000 dollars through trading and created many of his first business start ups during that time.Little did he know it would lay the foundation for his future success.
“A lot of my motivation in life comes from the heart. My family didn’t have the best upbringing; they were hard working parents who strived to provide a roof over my head and food on the table at all times. Neither one of my parents had an education and they tried their best to provide for me even when they were struggling making minimum wage. I’ve always been grateful for their sacrifices and the amount of love they’ve given me. Wanting to support my parents is my motivation, and my goal is to express gratitude and make them proud with my success.” Chrisna shared.
Some people think that if they were dealt a bad hand in life, then they won’t make it far. Chrisna believes that you can beat the cards that were dealt to you by maintaining a good work ethic and never giving up, but most importantly, never let where you’ve been or what you have suffered define you.
