Together with his team, he created a software platform that allows Cardinal Financial to reach clients and homebuyers, allowing for quicker, easier, and more transparent deals. Not only did implementing technology into their systems benefit clients, but the sales team has had opportunities to grow as well.

Ziegert says that his passion for growth and learning is the one trait that helped him outperform many of his colleagues and become the best at what he does.
“To excel at your job, you have to be willing to learn and accept constructive feedback. No matter what university you graduated from or what grades you had, there is always something new you can learn. Learning new things will help you do your job better and make you stand out from everyone else,” Ziegert says.

“Mindset is everything. If you want to succeed, you have to be ready for some sacrifices. Many people say that they are doing everything to succeed, but they’re not willing to put in the nights, weekends, and deal with the failures, rejections. I had to want it as bad as I needed to breathe; it was a necessity. It consumed my every thought and action,” Ziegert says.
