According to Jem Bourouh, the marketing mastermind behind TikTok’s viral leggings, success in entrepreneurship is all about mindset. To fail is not, and will never be, an option. It is no wonder his performance marketing and advertising company is recognized by Google Ads as a top Full-Stack team. With all of this success by age 23, this young German man credits his accomplishments to discipline and learning from others to keep his creativity sharp.

The brains behind TikTok’s viral leggings

If you’re not familiar with the viral TikTok leggings – these leggings claimed to make one’s booty look fuller, rounder, and way curvier than any other product on the market. TikTok got a hold of it, which began a viral series of mostly women showing their partner’s reactions to their newly purchased leggings. Jaws were on the floor, propositions were made, and the leggings caught everybody’s attention. Bourouh’s team is responsible for this viral response and its peak on Google Trends. They sold more than 120,000 units.

Bourouh loves consumer psychology and fell in love with marketing, media buying, and behaviorism after starting his first dropshipping business in December of 2017. In just a few years, he launched and sold 7-8 figure eCommerce brands and sold more than $20,000,000 with his eCommerce businesses. He started his marketing agency called Acdubator back in 2018, which also invests in smaller DTC brands and acts as a VC. His education-focused entity is called eCom Incubator.

Mindset Matters

Bourouh’s message is clear. He shares that for him, “Failure is not an option.” He applies this to every part of his life. “If you keep trying hard enough and always get back up on your feet, it’s not a matter of if you’re going to succeed, but more like when.”

If you need any proof of how that’s going for Bourouh, he and his team are one of the most reputable Google Ads agencies in the entire world. He scaled a beauty company to $780,000 in attributed revenue during BFCM. He hasn’t only scaled several of his own companies from $0 to $1,000,000 in revenue in just a month, but also many of his clients. Zipify (Shopify’s Top Upsell App) awarded him for $1M+ in upsells and ClickFunnels awarded him for $1,000,000 in sales through one funnel.

Listen more than you speak

Bourouh believes that comfort breeds complacency. He shared that by continually talking to leaders in their respective industries, it has allowed him to continually learn, grow, and grasp their unique understanding of marketing. This ever-changing perspective allows for more creativity and the opportunity to stand out.  It isn’t all work for Jem Bourouh. He meditates 30 to 60 minutes a day, and credits taking care of his health and finding a daily practice that he is passionate about to his current success and happiness.
